The Delaware State Fair is well underway and the Mustangs are on a stampede!! Please read to end for reminders……
Thanks
to Connor, Paige, Morgan, Ryan, Jenna, Meredith and Erin for helping
as judges assistants and setting up exhibits in the 4H building before
the fair opened.
The talent show
on opening night was a very popular event. Mustangs participating were
Rachel and Daniel Jones, Jenna, Meredith, Erin, and Rachel Carey, and
CJ and Alexia. They all did a great job!! Congrats to Jenna and Daniel
for placing 3rd and 4th in their age categories.
Thanks to Paige and Connor for hostessing in the 4H building on Thursday night also.
Congrats to Jenna Anger for her 1st place on Friday night in the beginner 1 category of the Public Speaking contest.

Pigmy goats: CJ and Alexia
CJ won 3rd in age group for showmanship and 9th in 6-9 month pigmy class
Alexia won 7th in age group for showmanship and 11th in 6-9 mo pigmy class
Dairy Cows: Hayley, Ethan, Mackenzie Bender, Jaycie, MacKenna, and Avery Kerrick, Erin and Rachel Carey
Jaycie won 1st place Dry Cow and 8th in Showmanship
MacKenna won Reserve Champion Holstein calf and 5th in Showmanship
Avery won 9th in Showmanship
Hayley won 3rd in Showmanship
Ethan won Reserve Champion Brow Swiss Calf and Jr. Reserve Champion with Brown Swiss Cow
MacKenzie won Jr. Champion Ayrshire and 10th in Showmanship
Rachel won 6th in Showmanship and 9th in spring calf

Paige won 1st in Jr. Division of Lead Line contest

The Mustang Window Display one 2nd in the State. Congrats to Stateline 4H club in Seaford who captured 1st.

Don’t
forget!!!! We ride the float Thursday night. The parade starts at
7pm. Please meet at the 4H building no later than 6:45 to load onto the
float. Please wear your Mustang t-shirt or a green shirt. Everyone is
invited and encouraged to ride. Let’s fill the float!!
