Photography and Graphic Art exhibits are due to the Carvel center by 4:30 on October 22 for the Sussex County Contest.
Mark your calendars for a fun night at the Pumpkin Contest and fall overnighter taking place on October 23rd. Use your skill, wits and creativity to create a pumpkin masterpiece. Be sure to check the 4-H website http://www.rec.udel.edu/Extension/4hindex.html changes in pumpkin categories. Jr. Council is planning "a special" hauntingly fun evening! The fun begins with arrival between 5:30 and 6:30 with judging to begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
In conjunction with the Pumpkin Contest is the Sussex County fall overnighter which takes place immediately after the Pumpkin Contest. Sussex County 4-H members ages 8-12 spend the night at the Redden Lodge for a night of fun, fellowship. Attendees will make horse treats as a community service activity and will also participate in a craft activity. Members that completed project books for the 2010 will have 1st priority. Contact the county 4-H office to register for this event.
Mustangs Family Night will be on November 18th our regular meeting day.
